Dead motherboard?

I've recently installed some new cooling to my computer, but I've noticed some weird things happening. First, the computer sometimes boots, but other times it hangs at the point when it's supposed to be detecting all the IDE devices. Secondly, the motherboard doesn't seem to think that it's got a built in ethernet adaptor anymore, I had to plug in a NIC to get the internet going. Does this sound like a case of a motherboard on it's way out? I reinstalled the drivers, but it's still happening...

What cooling have you installed and what did you have to disturb to install it?

Try checking out your power supply unit

Well, I installed watercooling, so pretty much everything! It seemed fine, but then these things started to happen

Ensure that everything is plugged/connected/switched as it was before.

To be honest, anyone with a mind to doing watercooling of their machine, I would have expected them to have the required knowledge and expertise to cope with problems like this.

It's not dripping water into some vital part is it?
