Dead CPU

Would a processor that is presumably dead stop the computer booting to bios, I have replaced the motherboard and graphics card and still have this problem, any help would be great , thanks
AMD2 6000X2 CPU Asus M2N32-SLI De-luxe motherboard, I have even changed the power supply unit but still cannot get a bleep out it

Yes - so can RAM, plus other cards (eg model), even some keyboard, mouse and drive problems.

Try with as little as possible connected - and try swapping the RAM (if you've got two sticks, try with each one in turn.

Thanks DieSse, tried changing all 4 sticks of ram one at a time but still the same so it looks like a new CPU is the order of the day. Once again many thanks for your help

I had a Hard Drive that as soon as it was connected stopped The Computer Dead in its Tracks. As soon as it was disconnected it would boot to BIOS. Fitted new Drive and it worked after loading windows

thanks for the input and it was the cpu and has now been replaced
