Games that previously worked on my PC do not now. The message 'DDRAW.DLL file cannot start- check file to determine problem' is displayed.

When I click on the file (using explorer) I get

C\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\DDRAW.DLL not a valid Win32 Application .

This has only just happened, any ideas?

ddraw is a part of direct x.

Which opersting system are you using?

Sounds as if ddraw.dll is corrupted - try reinstalling Direct X, or if you can find the version number of ddraw.dll, download it from the net.
