DDR and Windows 98

I have two machines one is a win 2000 with 256 2100 ddr memory and the other is 98 with 256 ddr and I am continually getting memory problems with the 98 machine but the 2000 is fine.
I heard that ddr memory doesn’t work well with win 98 is this true?

No, it's not true - the type of RAM has nothing whatsoever to do with the operating system.

What "memory problems" are you getting, perhaps someone can help.

System resources are down to 40%. Applications running slow. Computer needs rebooting on a regular basis
