I have upgraded my computer and installed 512 DDR Ram but it does not seem to be "super fast" like I thought it would be. Is there anything I should do or is there too much memory for my processor?

I have a AMD Athlon XP, 1666 MHz (6.25 x 267) 2000+ and I am running XP Pro

The amount of RAM you have is just right.

It's difficult to comment on the speed of your overall system, as A) we can't see it, B) we don't know what you had before, and C) we don't know what you were expecting.

Howeever what you now have should give you a good overall, fast system, without being "at the top of the heap" in terms of performance.

Do you have any specific things that you can point to?.
