i am still stuck on which speed to get ie pc2100 pc2700 pc3200 i have run belarc advisor and i tells me i have a lite-on tech 0884h motherboard but i can not find any info on what speed ram it can take please help i am stuck if i buy ddr400 will it work even if the motherboard can only take ddr266

Please dont keep posting new threads when you already have asked this question.

If you follow the advice given to run "Everest" then click on "Motherboard/SPD" it will tell you what RAM your motherboard has presently,if its SDRAM,then NO you cannot use DDR,if its already using DDR,then you can install any speed RAM you like,the motherboard will only run it at the boards maximum speed(PC2100/PC2700/PC3200,etc)
