DDR Memory Upgrade Problem

  kced 21:26 30 Jan 03

I have a Time Jupiter Athlon XP2000 and I added 512 DDR PC2100 memory it had 256 and I moved the 256 into the other slot as it would not add to the 512, I had to put the 512 into the first slot to get it to register but the two won't add together. It is a MSI-6382 motherboard but I can't find this motherboard anywhere, on Timesupport or at Micro- Star International. Time support states they should add. Any Tips Thanks

kced, what O,s are you using.? Win98 and 98se have been known to refuse to run with more than 512Mb ram, so the DDR may help towards this.

If you are running XP, just humour me.
Regards Joe.
