I have copied my Outlook Express e mails to an external hard drive, 1.5 gb in total as dbx. files, but I cannot read them. My computer hard drive has failed. I have purchased another computer with windows 7 and my question is how do I transfer the unreadable dbx. files to windows 7 successfully? Failing that is there a way I can just read them on the external drive? The last resort would be to use another computer (borrowed) with XP so is it possible to transfer them back from the external drive to OE and read them OK? Sorry it is a bit garbled, I would be very grateful for any assistance.

As windows 7 does not come with Outlook you will need to import them in to Windows Mail.click here
