Is there any way of checking when an entry was made into the Outlook calendar, or when it may hav been ammended. Thanks

In Outlook 2007 open the calendar item and then click on the office symbol and the select properties and you will find your information.

Further to Woolwell.
In Outlook 2003, open your calendar item. Click on 'File' then 'Properties'. This gives you the date the item was last modified, which will, of course, often be the date it was created.

If you want to see the dates that all of the entries were created/modified then you can go to View - Current View - Day/Week/Month then View - Current View - Customize Current View then in the Fields box you can add Created.
