I'm trying to save various Word 2000 documents from 3.5in floppies onto a CD-RW, but when using the "Save As" option and inserting the CD in the relevant drive I keep getting the message: "You do not have access to the folder 'E:\' Please see your administrator for access to this folder."

I am the sole user - it's a stand-alone PC with Windows XP Home Edition - and therefore the "administrator".

is not the path its wanting to transfer and kicking you out.

Best To get the documents from the floppy transfered to a folder on your HDD then do them all in one go to a CD.

Thanks to all who replied. Problem solved - I didn't have suitable burning software installed, so have now done so (Nero v.6).
