Can anyone out there tell me what dardggo.exe is?

I have it on my PC and do not know what it is or how to het rid of it.

It does not appear anywhere on Google.

Many thanks.

Where is it on the PC? What is it doing?

Any properties?

Are you sure of the spelling ? I have got it wrong before now, it is easy to do.

There's not much that isn't on Google, suggest you follow "absent's" suggestion and check the spelling.

It could be malware using a randomly generated file name. Try a scan with Ewido click here

The file is on C:\windows as dardggo.exe, together with dardggo.lgc

I right clicked the .exe file, selected properties and then version. It comes up as sysmon.exe, which I will have to do some research on.

I will try ewido and see what happens.

Thanks for your interest. I will be back with any new info/success etc, another day.

sysmon.exe is a system monitoring utility provided with certain AOPen motherboards. However, a quick Google reveals that it is also a name used by certain viruses and trojans.
