damaaged file HELP me again

sorry to both you again but got a book called computing for seniors (cringing),a lot l knew but was using disk clean and list came up when finised saying l had a file damaged and a number 4a3cf76b-ec74kb
Is it important, am hoping this book will stop me bothering you so much, have been using a pc and laptop for years but all problems come at once.
BTW have changed the look of pc to look like microsoft media xp and its easier to see, more contrast, have theurl if anyone wants it, from new zealand

A google search reveals nothing for a file of that name. Where abouts is the file located on your hdd? Does the computer work normally otherwise at the present moment? If the answer to the second question is yes then try moving the file to a floppy or a cd and give it a couple of days to see if any problems are encountered by having removed it, ie programs not working properly.

Repair XP by replacing corrupt files
Type

sfc /scannow

in the run box, press enter and let system file checker find and replace missing / corrupt file in windows and explorer.This will take awhile to complete and you may be asked for the CD to be in the drive if windows is not preinstalled on the hard drive.
