Can anyone help me!

I purchased this Wireless Router for wireless connection to the Internet. Virgin Media provide me with internet access via cable. I have plugged the cable from the modem to the adsl socket at the back of the router and a local connection is made on my laptop but there is no internet available. My OS is Vista. Does anyone know how to sort this problem?

have you put the details of the ISP into the router.

have you checked to see if the router needs a firmware update to run Vista?

What you should do is to connect the cable from the router to the lan socket on the computer.

Open up Internet Explorer and put the into the address bar at the top and enter.

this should open up the router setup pages.

have you tried this?

The manual for the D-link DSL-G624M states that it is for windows 98se, ME, windows 2000 and windows XP. click here page 6

there is a firmware up date for the router but it does not say what for. I would think it's for Vista but it might be a good idea to ring D-link UK. click here==
