D drive on vista

trying to move music to D drive.....on start menu i right click on music...send to....but D drive not listed.....then i clicked on music..properties....location....move................Got to the select destination but nothing in the drop down list. i want to move music pictures etc......anything i should not move there??? how about exe files for instance.....i m on vista....

Open 'computer'.
In start search bar type shell:sendto. Open folder.
Drag D drive to sendto folder. Close both windows.
You should now have drive D in your 'send to' list when you right click.
I only move docs, photos, music and some zip files.

Is this a laptop? If so it may be that D: is your backup/restore drive and that may cause problems if you move anything else onto it. How much space do you have free on D:? Whatever you do don't move exe files onto it unless you are certain that they are program files that run without reference to anything else.
