Cyberlink Power Director 3 changes screen res

When I copy a family VHS tape to a DVD disk, and complete in one period CPD3 works o.k.
However, if I save, meaning to return, I find that I save it with a Windows Media player Icon by default, in "My Videos".
Whenever I open "My Videos" folder the screen closes from 1028 x 768 and reopens in 800 x 600, with a window telling me that CPD3 will not run in this resolution, I click o.k. and carry on and do what I want to do in this res, but when I want to burn I go back to Cntrl Panel - Display, and change back to 1028x768 and burn o.k.

I have mailed Cyberlink, but at the moment have not been impressed with the help?

Any ideas please?
I have already updated my graphic card drivers,stopped Antivirus, ZA etc and unistalled/reinstalled.

I uninstalled/reinstalled and resolved it??
