CWShredder 2.16

  VCR97 19:04 16 Oct 05

I have just seen on another forum a comment that v2.16 might have been withdrawn and that this had been "reported on several forums". I've just had a quick look on Google but found nothing definite, just a comment that it might have been withdrawn because it doesn't work with Win98. I couldn't find any comment on the Trend-Micro CWS page; that shows 2.15 as current but no mention of 2.16. Does anyone know anything about this?

No but I just clicked the Check for Updates on my V2.15 and it said I was running the latest version.

I've 2.16, but Win 98SE is not supported anymore: however 2.16 seems to work well on Win2k.

The only hic is that some newer nasties cannot be checked on Win 98SE systems....

2.16 has been out for a while now and is in the logo of its new owner and still free.

But i have version saved to my hard drive from 20 September 2005 - according to the File Properties it is anyway....

I repeat, to you, my question to sunny staines.

And, yes, I am shouting.

It's the funny blue thing with CLICK HERE on it in my post. Trend Micro is the new owner. See it says Trend Micro™ CWShredder™ when you click on my link. Also a Trend Micro logo at the top of sunny staines link too.....

PS Shouting with not sure your blindness....

I suggest that you need an optician or, at least, you must learn to read the full thread before posting.

I also gave a link to Trend Micro.

My link and your link both point to version 2.15.

I'm seeking the link to the new version 2.16, from the Forum members who claim to be using that version - which includes yourself.

If you do a Google search you will find it.
