im in the middle of processing a order from cougar systems, but im not sure if the gfx card is good and maybe a few other things like should i get intel quad, or is duo just as good? I want a pretty darn fast pc to last a few year and handle latest games like crysis, the witcher etc:

Gamers Core 2 Duo 8500 Series
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 Ghz 8Mb Cach
4Gb Corsair Memory DDR2 800 - 4 x 1GB
500GB SATA Hard Drive
Atrix 650Watt Transparent + Blue LED
1024Mb 8500GT Nvidia DDR DVI
C2D - ASROCK CONROE 1333fsb-DDR667x2 integrated motherboard
2 x DVD+/- RW - 18X Samsung Lightscribe
22 inch YUSMART - YURAKU widescreen JT229IP

I mean is 4GB worth it, or use 2? is a 1GB gfx card really needed? Please advise as soon as possible thanks

If you use a 32bit operating system and then proceed to use a
1Gb graphics card
a cpu with 8Mb of cache
a sata hard drive with 16Mb cache?
2 lightscribes with 8Mb cache each?

total 1068Mb of memory.

Then the 32bit O\S will just be able to manage over 2Gb of physical ram.

A 64bit O\S would see and use all 4Gb of ram.

Before placing your order I would put these same questions to Couger Systems and see what their responce is. You may have some come back if things go wrong from them you will have none from us

8500gt is no good for games, don't be fooled by the 1024 memory as this is a gimmick to make the card look better. you need a ati 4850, nvidia 8800gts or 9600gt

ok thanks, i will ask them before its built and check out other gamer cards
