Cursor Disappears - Toshiba or Vista Problem?

  zarajones 13:01 29 Sep 07

I have just bought my first laptop (a Toshiba), which came with Windows Vista. When I try to select or click next to text within a text box the cursor disappers and I have to guess where I am (or use shift and arrow keys to select), which is very annoying and time consuming! I changed the cursor to a black arrow, hoping it may solve the problem, but it hasn't. Does anyone know if this is a Toshiba problem or a Windows Vista problem, and if/how it can be solved...?
