Curious E_Mail attachments.

Often when I receive an email, it is accompanied by the attachment symbol. After I have saved the attachment to a floppy and checked for virus I open it to find that it is nothing more then a copy of the original email. Anybody any ideas why?

At a guess - I would assume that you have your email software to read emails in 'plain text'. When an email arrives - if it has been written in html - your software copies the text element and this is what you see. The attachment is the original html email - including any jazzy bits etc

Go to tools/options/read, then make sure the "read all messages in plain text" is unticked.
