Crysis crashing - Radeon HD 2600 XT

I have a Packard Bell iExtreme computer which has a Q660, 3gb RAM and an 8600GS from nVidia. I was recently given a HD Radeon 2600 XT by Sapphire (PCI-E, given to me by a friend). It's only 256mb but it outperforms my other graphics card by alot. I uninstalled my old nVidia drivers and used driver cleaner, then installed the ATi ones but everytime I play Crysis it eventually crashes and my computer restarts. I'm running it on Medium settings and it runs smoothly but keeps crashing. Why is this happening? Is it a heating issue? Please help!

Can you please tell me what kind of power supply I would need to support a GTX 260 or Radeon 4870? Still looking for answers if it could be something else.

You will need to know how big yours is first.
The card has a low power consumption but needs a direct power supply to work properly..

Have a look at your PSU it will tell you what Wattage it is rated at...
