Crucial memory selector

I want to see if i could add more memory
and select the right one.I have 256mb in a 4y old
pc. i checked my pc model which said 256mb is
the max,then checked the motherboard and that
said 512mb max. i have p111 450 with a
msi motherboard. if the max is 256mb will i
struggle if i upgrade from 98se to xp.

If you buy the memory via the crucial selector tool, based on your mobo model, and it does not work, you will be entitled to a refund.

Why not give them a call - they are very helpful?

PS I am not sure that there will be a great benefit in moving to winXP from 98 on 450 MHz processor.

To add to the comment from Diodorus Siculus, it is quite possible that you will have driver issues in trying to use Windows XP with a 4 year old computer.
