Hi

Is there any way I can crop an animated .gif file? I've been sent a cute cat that blinks and wags its tail but it has writing on it. the writing is by the side of the cat. I can crop in psp7's animation workshop but I lose the moveent.

Any quick software out there.

TIA

An animated gif is made up of many images and each would have to be cropped.
ULead gif animator 2 . Free here click here would let you open the gif showing all the images and you could then export them to a folder. You would then have to crop the images and import them into Ulead and delete the uncropped images.

Or use Gifworks.com click here

You're not doing it properly then, Demora. Open the animated gif in Animation Shop and select all the frames, then go to File > Export Frames > To Paintshop Pro. Do what you need to on each frame and then save the manipulated frames. Then remake the animated gif in Animation Shop with the new frames you just saved.

Sorted.

I used 'Animation Workshop' as per Maj istructions and transfered the cat to nokia n95. Its working.

Also thanks for the links. all bookmarked. Thanks to both of you.
