I'm looking to upgrade my sound from on-board to a Creative SoundBlaster Audigy SE 7.1 drivers. I've downloaded the manual from Creative's website but can't find any drivers.

Creatives site lists the following similar products:

Audigy ES
Audigy DE(SE)
Audigy LS(SE)

None of which seem to fit the description.

The Creative product number is 30SB057000000 but creative says no drivers exist for the product. I only want the drivers and not the software.

Can anyone help?

The Creative website has a means of checking your sound card (or other components) and downloading the latest drivers and software for it (them).

Shame. I haven't ordered the card yet and as an OEM it comes with no CD. I want to make sure i have the drivers before i order.

I had an old Sound Blaster 512PCI card before and the auto checker didn't like it...

Don't see why they can't just post the drivers.

I found the model is an SB 0570 by looking at the hi-res pics on their website. However it's not even listed at click here

Yes that was the first of the two links i just posted. Hence i ditched the search.

Cheers :-)

Sorry I didn't check your links by hovering the cursor over them...:-(

It would seem to me that, under the Sales of Goods Act, any retailer would be selling a product that is not of merchantable quality.

It's an OEM so it doesn't come with drivers and isn't supposed to.

However Creative don't make it easy for you....

It's an extra £15 for the nice box, CD and paper manual.

There support centre lists the model when you want to e-mail them though...
