I'm getting a headache !

I've inserted a pic into Word doc. when I do web preview & props it shows it as a .jpg

But when I go back & add border & try to wrap text and then do web preview & props it shows .html

Am I missing something elementary !

you're making a rod for your own back by trying to design anything but the most basic of web pages using Word - it's a little like trying to paint a picture with a stick.

Have you considered using one of the excellent web design programs that are available?

Well after all that !
If I had managed to stay up another 1 hr for your response it would have stopped me tossing & turning all night

One other question, what should I now be looking for in the software dept.?

Many thanks again

any of those would do the trick.

They are not all free but will help you a lot building websites.

There is however a free version of Serif webplus here: click here

and there was a NetObject's fusion version on the PCA cover disc a few months ago.

Good luck,
