creating startup disks, or not

  Allattar 09:56 29 Apr 03

now im sure startup disks in the past on my pc where easy to run.

just put disk in go to add remove programs and then create startup disk.

This time, not so.

First off it cant find the file aspi2dos.sys
(easily found in windows/comand/ebd)

and then it cant find autoexec.ebd (no longer to be found on my system.)

Any one seen this before where in the past startup disks worked and now they dont. Could it be linked to a windows update?.

I wouldnt have worried but a friends PC won't boot from the windows CD so we needed the startup disk.

sorry its ME,

I'm really just wondering why it wont create them now.

Oh well it has been a year since a full reinstall, and system restore has helped me avoid that ;).

thanks for the link.
