creating shortcuts for frequent used words

Is there a way, please, to create shortcuts to use in all programs to reduce the number of keystrokes needed?

What I have in mind is that I frequently type in, say, my email address, in emails, on website forms, etc, and each time have to type in the whole address. Would be great if it could be reduced to one or two strokes.

Is it possible,please?

with 'auto complete' switched on,it should offer you your email address upon typing the first letter,or clicking into the relevant box gives a drop down of previous entries.

control panel\internet options\content\auto complete, then check both 'web addresses' and 'forms'.
