Creating new folder

Happy New Year everyone!
I'm running Windows 98SE and am certain that when I used to right-click the desktop, the menu that appeared had the option 'New' to create files, folders, etc, but it appears to have gone.
Does anyone know how I can get this facility back?

Try and do the same in say the My Documents folder then right click and Send To Desktop as a shortcut.

No 'send to' appearing either!
Can't understand why it has disappeared!

Yes, I have Win98SE and I have just right clicked on the Desktop and I get New, Folder. Don't know how you get back though because I have never used that method. I have PowerDesk 5 (from the PCA download page). A much better Explorer than Windows Explorer. click here

Just go to File, New, Folder.
