Hi Guys.

Does anyone know if you can divide c drive into 2-3 partitions while there is an OS (WINDOWS 7) on it?

Or can it only be done when there is no OS on it?

If it can be done, what prog do i need to do it?

Thanks in advance guys.

No problem doing it and you can use this

My big question is why, I hope that you are not thinking of backing up onto it. Remember if your HDD fails all the partitions fail.

I like to keep programmes on one drive and data on another. Then I do separate images onto another main drive; I also use a mirror image programme to back up the old "My Documents" folder.(in fact I do a clone to one drive and images to another using ATI)

I see no real point in partitioning a HDD. I just make new folders for whatever I need to keep seperate, and I back it all up to an External Drive.
