Create a bootable XP installation CD

  Big Elf 12:45 11 Jan 04

I found this site whilst googling which may be of interest to those without the full XP install CD. It won't work if the necessary files are on a hidden partition though. The burning software they used was Nero but no doubt other burning software has the options to do this as well

If you have a folder named i386 (probably in the Windows folder) then there's a good chance you have the required files.

If you don't have the "AddISOFileVersion" in the registry then after backing up the registry Right click on General and select New, DWORD Value named AddISOFileVersion with a Value Data of 0 (zero) Close RegEdit and reboot.
