Create batch files

I am trying to create a batch file to fix common outlook issues and simplify the task of entering the commands in the run box separately.

I have looked on google to start with and now have a very basic understanding of the coding behind them.

So far i have this

echo on

REM Removes Invalid profile keys and recreates default registry keys where applicable.

echo "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe /cleanprofile"

REM Clears and regenerates free/busy information.

echo "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy"

REM Clears and regenerates reminders.

echo "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe /cleanreminders"

However when i run this none of the commands seem to run. Can anyone advise what is wrong?

'echo' just echoes the text to the screen.

Delete all your 'echo's. The text will run.

Include a 'pause' at the end of your batch file when debugging/testing.

The cmd box will not close until you press any key.
So you can see any messages displayed. eg erros, successful etc.

You did save the text file as .bat of course?
If you get permission problems, Run As Administrator.

Yeah i saved it as a .bat file before i tried to run it.

Can't believe that it was as simple as removing the "echo" command from each line.

Thanks for the help
