crash and reboot problem

My PC running XP is continually crashing and rebooting. I have carried out virus checks etc with several programmes and no problems found. Have also run Ccleaner.
I am begining to think this may be a power supply problem.
Is there any software programme which monitors power supply performance similar to hard drive monitors?

If an oldish computer check the air vents for dust and fluff.Inside would also need cleaning out especially around the Fans.
It could also be faulty Memory. Maybe check and re-seat them properly.

thanks bteman have already cleaned PC out so not overheating.
Is there a memory check method?

Further thought could it be a corrupt driver fault or missing file? How would one check these?

Repair XP by replacing corrupt files

sfc /scannow

in the run box, press enter and let system file checker find and replace missing / corrupt file in windows and explorer. This will take awhile to complete and you may be asked for the CD to be in the drive if windows is not preinstalled on the hard drive.
