when i installed my printer it put up on the desktop an hp share to web upload icon. i do not want this on my desktop so i did the usual right click to send to recycle bin but as soon as i right click on it, it just crashes the whole computer. how can i delete this item without having to click on it. thank you

how do i start in safe mode .. is there a program i can get that will delete it

To start in safe mode, restart the computer and start tappping the F8 key

wouldnt delete in safe mode .. i need to do something as it just keeps crashing the whole system

can you find it using windows explorer and delete it that way?

Alternatively can you uninstall it using add / remove programs?
(start / settings / control panel / add remove...

In explorer go to

C:\documents & settings\all users\desktop

Also look under individual user names, ie

C:\documents & settings\user name\desktop

If you don't have Explorer icon you can R click on the Start button and choose explore

i followed your instructions & found it on its own at the bottom of everything .. it just crashed the whole system from there also

can you see it in the add / remove programs list?
