I have noticed that my CPU usage is normally around 50% this seems a bit high. After looking inmy task manager there seem to be a lot of processes running. Which are necessary and how do i reduce the amount of things happening. A lot of my processes seem to be duplicated is this normal. Thanks

Sometimes processes can be duplicated, I get several instances or services.exe running occasionally.

Make a list of all the services you have running, then go here click here
This useful site lists loads of different processes, and gives details of what they're for and whether they're safe to stop. For any it doesn't list, simply type the name of the process into google and you'll get all the info you need.

You may find you need to run Adaware and Spybot Search & Destroy.
