have posted already and was told if i pressed delete it would take me into bios to check my cpu temp tried it and windows started up normally is ther another way to get in to bois in win xp thanks mary

depending on your make of pc the key to press will be different.click here might help.

Also when you first boot your PC, it will sometimes say at the bottom left of screen.

Press.... Key to enter BIOS. j.

got into bios using f1 but cant find cpu temp can fing cpu fan speed but nothing else any help please thanks mary

when the computer starts, press the "Pause Break" key on the keyboard, this will then show the screen and tell you what key to hit to get in the BIOS

look for hardware monitor or similar in the bios.it should be along with the fan speeds.

im guessing not all bios gives this info though and may supply a seperate monitoring program for temps.

whats the make and model of your mobo?

i dont know what mobo but the cpu temp are not beside the fans because i got the fans and nothing else thanks mary

why dont you try aida32 click here this will give you temperature readings and a lot of other info too.
