I Would like to fit the largest amd xp chip,to my asus A7V133 motherboard.
The multiplier dip switches on the M/B go up to 12.5x.
The multiplier settings in the bios go up singular to 12.5x,but there are also 2 other settings as follows:- 5.5x/13.0x & 5.0x/14.0x
I dont know if it means i can use a 14x multiplier. If i fit a amd xp2200 cpu (14x)but my Motherboard only supports 12.5x,will it still work OK but at xp2000 (12.5x) multiplier
Thanks
Amdasusraid.
