I have installed a AMD Athlon 2000+ 1.6Ghz CPU into my mobo. I have applied the gel between the heat sink and CPU. When I go into system it tells me the speed is 1250Mhz not 1600Mhz. Do I have to alter BIOS settings? Thanks

Presumming your processor is an Athlon XP 2000+ then the multiplier should be set at 12.5 and the bus speed shouldbe 133 making 12.5 x133 = 1662.5 Mhz. click here(1224)

Nah. I knew the link didn't work because the click here had a number after it and when I saw that I tried it myself and realised it hadn't worked. firerescue999 did you get it work with the settings I gave you and is it perfectly stable? If it is please tick the thread as resolved.
