I have a few CPU Coolers and would like to know what CPU type & Speed they are rated for.

How Can i tell this, there is no packaging or documentation with them

I'm guessing they don't have any model numbers or brand names printed on them then. If they do, even if it's just a brand name, then a search should throw something up. If you can find the manufacturer's website, you might get some spec sheets.

No markings at all, what can i do

Not a lot, unless it looks unusual and a description might jog someone's memory. eg. if it was a Zalman, you'd know it because they look like nothing else. If it's bog standard, then you'd be safer to replace it with a model that you know works with your chosen CPU. Better safe than sorry with CPU cooling.

Thanks for the help. As thought, not a lot I can do then. I had better bight the bullet and replace with new. Better label things in future
