I am looking at purchasing a gig of 3200 ddr400 memory. Corsair offer a gig of memory as either 2x 512 at say £160 or they do what they call Twinx which is two 512 which are supposedly a match pair for £205, would I notice a diference the fact that they are a match pair or am I better off saving my forty quid.

This is just one of quite a few reviews of this matched pair, albiet this one addresses the half GB combination.

Generally, the experts think they are worth the extra investment - I'm not so sure...but why did I buy the 1GB package? Because the experts said it was a good idea!
