Corrupted RAR n ZIP files

I just ran a thorough Avast! anti-virus scan. I selected it to scan archive files as well; the results were 'Unable to scan: RAR and ZIP archives is corrupted' - all of them being in the TEMP folder. Will it be safe to delete these?

Well if they really are corrupted there would seem little point in keeping them. Have you tried opening one?

Generally speaking, anything in a temp or tmp folder is safe delete. Send it to the Recycle Bin and if nothinh horrible happens over the next week or so, empty the Bin.
