Well I seem to have some corrupt files said from the bubble that pops up in the corner of my screen near the program toolbar. It askes me to run the Chkdsk Utility. Now i thought that if i restarted my computer than the blue screen would come up doing the Load up Where it checks it but my dad has set it to skip that. how to i run the utility. If you can please email me. im looking for someone i can come to through with any questions i have. thankyou.

Start, Run, type in

and click OK

at the > prompt type in

chkdsk /f

and press the Enter key.

It will probably tell you that Windows needs to restart to do that - do it.
