Corrupt CDR

I have a CDR with a number of programs on that I have backed up. I recently had to do a full format of my hard drive. I thought I had done the sensible thing in backing up programs that I had from mags and the like, but it appears that my disc is damaged. I tried ISO Buster and get a message 'cyclic redundancy' for some of the files. I discovered a program called 'Bad Copy' on the web. Before I shell out any cash I wondered if this is a problem that it is possible to recover from and has anyone has used this program or a similar one with any success.

I have used Bad Copy Pro and recommend to friends quite frequently

Are you still with us?

Yes I am still with you. Sorry but I have been very busy as both my mother and wife are ill. I have had no luck recovering any of these files, even after polishing the disc.
