I am trying to find a processor on eBay but all I have looked at are 1.75v
dose the core voltage have to match its for a 478 MOBO.

If you list your mobo make/model we can find a compatible cpu.If you not know your mobo run Belarc click here this should tell you.

Almost any Celeron/Celeron D/Pentium 4 will run on a socket 478

ATI RS350+SB300 Chipset.

This board packed up on me but I did a bench test the other day and it went into DOS so I have put it back into a case and I thought I would I buy a cheap processor to to see if it would run.
It had a Pent 3GHZ before but thats in use now.

It says 0.8v-1.6V VOLTAGE
400MHz 100MHz BC 64 Bit
800MHz 200MHz BC 64 Bit

Your motherboard should support these processors.

It should have 4 dual in line memory modules and a AGP slot.

thats OK. It's always good to have confirmation.

Some times we give it our best shot and are not quiet on the nail, but confirmation of a deduction can make it worthwhile.
