Copying zone 4 dvd's from zone 2 drive

Good day

Is there anyway it would be possible to copy zone 4 dvd's onto a computer which has a zone 2 dvd drive. And then from that point, copying these movies onto an Ipod?

Would you be breaking the copyright by doing this?

  lecram 14:38 15 Jan 09

No, will not be breaking any copyright laws. I'll only be copying my original dvds which I have legally bought.

I'm afraid that does not matter, it is still a breech of copyright law to do what you ask..

there is a fair use policy but i doubt you will meet the criteria for that.
unless it states on the disc that a copy is permisable (some do) we cannot help...

you could do this, change the region of your DvD drive....

If you use DVD shrink, you can set or change the region setting.
