Copying my email folders

  brian132 12:14 29 Aug 03

I use Win XP and use Agent for my email server and newsreader. I am soon changing from from my desktop PC to a laptop and would like to copy my saved emails from my PC to laptop .I have a floppy disk drive and a CD -RW. Where can I locate my email files in order to do this?
Thanks for any help.

your emails are saved in dbx folders (assuming that you use outlook express for email). if you do a search for *.dbx - the folders will be listed. for your address book use *.wab

with win xp - you need to set the search criteria to include system files.

Thanks for the help, but if you look again at my message you will see that I use Agent for my email. Does the same apply?

Sorry never heard of Agent. Have a look at the otions within the programme and see whether there is an option to export email folders.
