I would like to copy my "favourites" folders from IE to put them onto my new laptop. Can I copy them into Shared Folder, and if so how please?

Thanks

Phil

Create a folder in Shared Folder called, say WRK.

Then go to C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Favorites and just copy all of the contents (folders and files therein), ideally excluding the desktop.ini file in Favorites, to WRK and then copy from there to your equivalent target Favorites folder on the new PC.

Alternatively you could use the Transfer Files & Settings Wizard.
