copying excel file to cd

I am running xp pro and am having problems transfering work on excel to a cd. It tells me I am not authorised to copy it. I was wondering if anybody could tell me which settings i need to alter to change this.

Why not use InCD if you use NERO, format the CD you can then put the CD in the drive and save to disc. or If you use a CDRW you can save or edit as a Floppy

I have saved to CD before without trouble, but now I get 'no access to E drive'.

What I can do is email a file to myself by File, Send to, Mail recipient, and save to CD from there.

If using CD to save you should always use two just in case one stops working
