When you copy a disc does the image stay on pc when finished or is it deleted

If you copy "disc-2-disc" (the Copy CD or Copy DVD option), then after the disc has been copied the image is removed from the system.

If you use Nero's image copying facility the hard drive image is deleted after the burning is completed.

It's one reason, however, why you should defrag the hard drive more often if you do a lot of such work as the same area of the drive is used.

It is also possible to set Nero to leave the file on the hard disc after a copy as well

That's true but I have the configuration to delete it when the required copy or copies have been burned.

It doesn't take long to recreate if it's ever required again.
