Copying the contents of a sent email ?

I'm using Outlook Express and Window XP (SP3)and need to copy a sent email and store the contents in another folder on the desktop.

Tried a few methods without success, advice would be appreciated ?

Found how to do it !

Highlight the contents and CTRL + C then open up Word and CTRL + V on the blank displayed document so the contents is displayed.

Save the document as a Word File, then Copy and Paste it to the new Folder.

Why not just create a folder on the desktop and drag the email to the folder using the right button then select copy here. That gives you a copy of the email as a *.eml file.

Even more simple and far less elaborate than your basic Ctrl C and V using Word and then re-copying method, is to right click on an e-mail line>Copy to Folder...:-)

Thanks...what I was doing wrong was trying to drag the contents of the email instead of dragging the actual email to the folder!!!

As you say it's quicker.
