MS Outlook 98 installed with Windows XP. How can you copy contacts to a second user?

You need to import them when logged in as the second user. In windows explorer you will need to go to tools/folder options/view and remove change to 'show hidden files and folders'.
Now look in c:\documents and settings\your username\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook and in this folder there should be a file called outlook.pst
Copy this file to the desktop and then switch to the other user.
In outlook select file/import and say other file.
Now select .pst file, browse to the one on the desktop and select the option to import only selected folders and select contacts.
now exit outlook and delete the pst file on the desktop.
