How do I copy my old emails from my back-up portable hard drive to my new computer. I am using windows mail (vista) and the files have a DBX extension. Any suggestions will be gratefully appreciated.

Have a look at my recent thread on a similar topic. Marg7 identifies the store folder for emails in Vista. Just copy this folder from your backup drive to the same location on your new computer.

Pineman100 16:49 25 Oct 09 you're using Windows Mail and not Windows Live Mail, just delete the word "Live" from Marg7's suggested folder location.

Just click on the blue 'click here' on Pineman100's post for the 'Marg7 topic' which is actually 'Lost folders in Windows Live Mail' by Pineman100 and Marg7's reply is one of the posts.
